Trail Description Trails range from gently sloping, open fields to a few steep slopes with uneven surfaces. The majority of the trails are in the easy to more difficult range. Trails follow the Middle Caney River and run through open fields as well as scenic cedar and oak woods. Shoes on horses are not necessary. Detailed maps are provided.
Best Time to Visit Open all year. Call in advance (620-725-3702) to check availability and to make reservations.
Times to Avoid
Campground Three Barns has six electrical hookups. Stalls are available in the historic Casement (10) and in the secondary barn (7) at no cost. Saw dust available or bring your own sawdust. Modern bathrooms and the People Room has a kitchen and seating for up to 50.

(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
